Om een ISDN D-kanaal trace te maken, ga naar menu 24.8 en tik:

isdn fw analyzer on

Bel naar de router en daarna tik:

isdn fw analyzer disp

en je krijgt de D-channel trace!

Om een PPP trace op een ZyXEL router te maken, ga naar menu 24.8 en tik:

sys trcp switch on
sys trcl switch on

trigger the call, door bv te pingen naar het WAN/ISDN of

dev dial 1

voor de eerste remote node

sys trcp switch off
sys trcl switch off
sys trcp display
